Planting trees
Every time I plant a tree I think of my dad – instead of buying houses he told me to plant trees as each of them helps Mother Nature more. So I am chuffed to see those two cherries on a small fruit tree we have planted late spring @bristolallotment – every tree counts! Plant trees, people, plant trees. It’s a great feeling to see them grow…

Bristol Bike Path
Bristol-Bath bike path is such a blessing to us all. Dan enjoyed it for a long time but I only recently conquered my anxieties and got on the bike again. Really lucky and privileged to share this green corridor 5 min from home.

Coffee
It was so nice to sneak out for a rare, first since March moment over a coffee and cake last night. I am with the people who say the new normal might be more normal than the old one but I also enjoy my old introvert habits – one to one coffee and an honest, trusted and vulnerable chat. I am blessed to know you and have you in my life, Muneera Pilgrim.
You are Light.

City walk
My mantra, really. Went for a walk in the city today – I miss the crowds and buzzing of the city but I also enjoy its empty streets. It’s hot. It’s sunny. It’s quite relaxing. Counting my blessings.

Busy
Morning run, full on day of work, afternoon 6K bike ride for a client meeting in the park (first one, what a great way of meeting, must do all the time), on the way back visited @bristolallotment to test the new camera and water the plants – busy like a bee day today but nice.

Cherry bonus
Back to morning runs – feeling much better with those and getting way more done. Bonus: finding out who has got cherries in the area 😉
